London

I think all the hotels of London should get together and make all of their mottos "We make you pay for air" because it seems almost every single hotel we have looked at makes you pay a ungodly amount of money for 24 hours of wifi, so basically they make you pay for air. Or they just make you pay an ungodly mount of money for the room and have free wifi.

Since we have landed in London we have discovered that almost everything is double the price you pay in Canada. For example, it`s almost 100 dollars for a crappy hotel room the size of your bathroom. At our hotel, we have to pay 10 pounds or 18 dollars for 24 hours of wifi, which is insane. You are literally paying for a chunk of air with wifi waves in it and it also just doesn't make sense because nowadays internet's a standard in almost every 1st or 2nd world country. In Sweden and some northern European countries it's a human right to have internet. Canada should have that too.

Chickens!!!!
Since everything is hilariously expensive we didn't go inside any of the things we saw yesterday and the day before that. For example, we walked to Buckingham Palace then to Westminster Abby but didn't go in because it was 14 dollars for each of us and it was the same for the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge. We also walked to Trafalgar Square to see the monument to Admiral Nelson. The odd thing about it though, was that there was that there were many statues of famous English leaders and in the middle of it all was a big blue chicken because there was a big art gallery in the square.

So far London seems great other than the fact that everything is much more expensive than in Canada.
