Driving!

The lovely streets of London!

I think that the UK's driving system is all wrong. For starters they drive on the wrong side of the road and when you come from a right hand drive country and rent a car here many things can go wrong.

Since we had seen all the major things to see in London we decided to rent a car and explore the country a little before moving on the rest of Europe. So my dad and I went went out to pick up the car we had rented online. When we were driving out of the parking lot my dad said, "I wonder how many people scratch the car driving out of the parking lot," and at the time I just thought of it as a joke.

Driving is fun! ( not on the left side of the road)

We were driving along the road and my dad was complaining how he would never get used to a right hand drive car and that everything he learned about driving was the opposite here. Then all of a sudden we heard a loud snap. We had grazed the side of a big truck and our mirror had felt the need to just snap right off Into a thousand little bits. So we turned right around and drove back to the rental place. After getting a new car we headed back to the hotel and thankfully got there with two mirrors intact.
